"Ethan and Mark did a fantastic job! Great work."
"Great Barrier Pool Fencing did a fantastic job. They worked a 13+ hour day due to some tricky landscape issues around the pool, and the end result looks great. Most importantly, I know my kids will be safe. Great company, great guys. Definitely recommend."
"The best customer experience. So kind and nice to work with. Extremely responsive, communicated the whole process and checked in frequently to ensure we were happy with the project. Explained everything along the way and even educated me on additional safety concerns I hadn't considered. Highly recommend."

Frequently Asked Questions
Local questions about City of Austin code, cost, deck conditions and installation in South Austin.
Where we work
Deck surfaces and lot sizes vary a lot across South Austin. Here is what we usually find.
Large master planned lots with mature landscaping and a lot of limestone and stamped concrete decking. It core drills cleanly, and we can follow a curved deck edge without leaving gaps at the corners.
Established homes on generous lots near the golf course, often with older decking and mature oaks close to the water. Fence routing usually has to respect existing tree roots and irrigation lines.
More semi-rural, with bigger yards and pools set further from the house. Longer runs, and frequently a mix of hard decking and lawn along the same fence line.
A settled subdivision with established gardens. Most installs here are straightforward concrete or flagstone, with the gate positioned to keep the main path to the house clear.
A small city entirely surrounded by Austin, with a mix of original and rebuilt homes. Deck surfaces vary considerably, which is why we measure on site before quoting.
